Statistics: Russia’s wage arrears rise 7.6% in Jan to 2.7 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- Russian wage arrears increased 7.6% in January to 2.676 billion rubles as of February 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Friday.
The debt due to a late receipt of funds from the federal, regional and local budgets amounted to 28 million rubles of the total sum.
Debts to employees of processing companies accounted for 47% of total wage arrears, while construction companies accounted for 21%, agricultural companies for 11%, transport companies for 8%, and the mining industry for 4%.
